Padilla Stoneware Mugs!

Rodolfo Padilla grew up learning his art at his father’s
ceramic studio. In 1981 he won a scholarship to study
ceramic design and materials in Japan and then went on to
continue his studies in Argentina and Italy. Rodolfo Padilla
has presented his work at a number of expositions in
Japan, Europe, South America, Mexico and the United
States. He is an accomplished ceramicist and sculptor.

After mastering the technique of high-fired ceramics,
Padilla's process includes firing the piece at high temperatures,
letting it dry for a couple of days, removing the rough edges,
and then applying a lead-free glaze creating the appearance of it
dripping before firing it again for a shorter period of time.
Currently Padilla divides his daily work time to several studios
where he sculpts, paints and creates new ceramic designs.
He is now devoting his talent to the creation of fine sculptures
in mixed mediums and paintings which are not presented here.

Hazelnut Coffee!

Coffee lovers will all uniformly agree that hazelnut coffee is a very richly-flavored delectable coffee with nutty overtones. To experience the original taste, you must try hazelnut flavored coffee made with natural ingredients without sugar, calories and allergens. Hazelnut coffee is a harmonious blend of nut and coffee that is something distinctly unique.
Even if you are not a veteran coffee drinker, it is quite easy to know if the kind of coffee you are offered is indeed of the hazelnut flavor or not. The aroma that is emanating from the cup should be almost identical to hazelnut liquor. After inhaling a whiff of the strong smell, the very first sip will tell you what sort of coffee you have in your hands.
If it is sweet, nutty and gives you the feeling of a wonderful combination of coffee and nut, then rest assured you are holding a hot cup of hazelnut coffee. If you instantly like what you just sipped, then you are on the way to join the elite group of people from all over the world who have almost become addicts to this delicious blend of coffee – the strong Hazelnut.

Gift Certificates!

Are you worried about your gift getting there on time for Christmas?
Can you say "Gift Certificate?"
Are gift certificates not personalized enough? Do we really care or have we
spent any time considering our family member, friend or co-worker's
interest as to what they would enjoy as a gift?

My personal experience in this quest is, yes to all the above!  A gift
certificate is the gift that keeps on giving.  Once you know the likes, dislikes,
passions of the recipient, it is not only easy but a pleasurable experience for
them and you.  They don't have to spend the full amount all at once.  They
have the pleasure of experiencing the fun again every time they use it.
I remember purchasing a certificate several times over the years for my
wife at her favorite store for Christmas and was pleased and amazed at
how much she enjoyed herself again and again
.
The key is to have some idea of what the recipient likes.
Then allow them to make their own choices.  Whether spent all at once
or over a period of time, it will be a wonderful experience for all involved.

Which Coffee Complements Which Food?

Did you know that coffee and food compliment
each other?  According to some research we came
across, there are combinations of coffee and food
that really relate to your taste buds.  Imagine that!
Just like what wine goes with what food, now we
learn that it's the same for coffee.  It makes sense
to me that some things taste good together, like
coffee and chocolate.  Why not other foods?
So, we would like to share some of that knowledge
with you, to enhance that wonderful past time we call
"Dining."

Christmas Time!

Christmas Time!

There is a time
when things seem fine,
a time of joy and reflection.
When children's eyes seem mesmerized
with sights of wondrous perfection.

A time when every moment spent
with great anticipation.
Soon to come the great event
of wondrous celebration.

Yes, everyday concerns and woes,
no longer hold resentment.
As we go about our bright new day
and truly seek contentment.

Our family, friends and God of course,
are really all that matter.
It's nice to know at Christmas time
all three are known to gather.

It isn't just the presents,
but the time we spend together.
The hugs, the talks, the jokes, the walks,
it just doesn't get much better.

What really counts is love my friend,
and too much, you can never give.
Give all you have and then some more.
And remember to forgive.

Food Groups?

It's a well know fact that certain wines compliment certain food groups.  Many of your 5 star restaurants offer a wine selection for each course: before dinner, with appetizer, with entree, and with dessert.  To help you with your selection, a table or chart is offered, pairing up wine with food.  Accepting the wisdom of those more knowledgeable, tends to enhance your dining experience.

Well, good news Coffee Lovers!  For those of us that really enjoy a good cup of coffee, we now have a table or chart that will pair up food groups that will enhance our dining pleasure as well.

Grapes grown in different climates and terrains around the world produce different tastes in the finished wine.  Also, coffee plants grown around the world will have different effects and characteristics in the finished coffee.  So, it is best to know what goes with what when selecting your favorite wine or coffee.

Solution, we've found some research that shows the various characteristics and effects that coffee can have on different foods.  Click on the Coffee and Food button on our navigation bar to the left.  It will bring you to an informational chart and help show you how this works.

So, the next time you think about making a coffee selection, you may want to think about what it will go with.  Is it a great "get you going" breakfast coffee?  Or maybe an after dinner "relaxing chat" with friends.  You decide, and let us know what effect it makes on your next dining experience!  "Anytime is Coffee Time"

Life is Coffee!

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. The conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

     Offering his guests
coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups; porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, and some exquisite, telling them to help themselves to the coffee. After all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor, said: “If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.”

“Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases, it’s just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups, and then began eyeing each other’s cups.”

“Now consider this: Life is the coffee, and the jobs, houses, cars, things, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life, and the type of cup we have does not define nor change the quality of life we live. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us.”

God brews the coffee, not the cups…enjoy your coffee. “Being happy doesn’t mean everything’s perfect; it means you’ve decided to see beyond the imperfections.” Live in peace and peace will live in you

Off With The Old, On With The New!

The way that I was, the way that I knew
Was all about me, and not about You.

I filled my life up with stuff and ideas
That brought joy to me, as you watched and shed tears.

Then one day it was clear, it was not about me.
My priorities changed, and I desired to please Thee.

It was no longer I that was the center of things,
But my Savior, my Jesus that created everything.

You gave me my gifts, my passion for life,
To love all You made as we prepared for Paradise.

One day I'll be with you, without any fear,
Listening for those words that I so long to hear.

"Well done good and faithful servant, I'm glad that your here.
No more sin, no more sadness to fear.

The old is all gone, your pure as the snow.
The new is within you and outside all a glow.

A place I've prepared, for you my son.
Your Daddy loves you, the battle is won!"

Testimony: Gift Certificates!

Are gift certificates not personalized enough? Do we really care or have we spent any time considering our family member, friend or co-worker's interest as to what they would enjoy as a gift?

My personal experience in this quest is, yes to all the above! A gift certificate is the gift that keeps on giving. Once you know the likes, dislikes, passions of the recipient, it is not only easy but a pleasurable experience for them and you. They don't have to spend the full amount all at once. They have the pleasure of experiencing the fun again every time they use it.

I remember purchasing a certificate several times over the years for my wife at her favorite store for Christmas and was pleased and amazed at how much she enjoyed herself again and again. The key is to have some idea of what the recipient likes. Then allow them to make their own choices. Whether spent all at once or over a period of time, it will be a wonderful experience for all involved.

It's All About Health, Or Is It?

As I got involved in the coffee business I researched this beverage. I wanted to be more educated so I could pass on this information to our coffee family. I found myself asking this question, is it all about health?

I learned about the many ups and downs about coffee, which by the way, there seems to be many more ups, as far as health is concerned. Also the importance of freshness, whole bean verses ground, water temperature, roasted the day of delivery, how to store it, cleaning your coffee pot properly and the list goes on. All important information and we do include this on our Coffee Lovers USA website and more. But for me and many others, I just plainly love the aroma that fills the room when a fresh pot is brewing. The wonderful taste as I sample my first sip.

The variety of coffee beans from all around the world that deliver their own distinct flavor. To me it's close to walking into a home where fresh baked bread is just coming out of the oven.

Yes, I'm happy there are many health benefits surrounding our favorite brew, but what makes me a coffee drinker is the pleasure it brings in all the above mentioned areas.

Life can get pretty complicated at times and we can become very analytical. So let's take a break from the busyness, take a deep breath, put up a pot of our favorite brew. Don't chug it, but sip it and enjoy the taste, the aroma and life will seem sweeter. It's not the destiny but the journey we need to enjoy. Let every moment count. Remember, "Any Time is Coffee Time."

Why Shop On Line?

When you shop on line you:
     ~ Save money on gas.
~ Save on time not having to search for a parking space.
~ You have a selection from around the World of products and services right
         there at your fingertips.
~ You don't have to rush to get there before the store closes, shop on line
         24 hours a day.
These are just a few of the benefits to shop on line.
Let's face it, we all want the best deal.  Price, sometimes, is the driving force behind our decision to purchase an item.  It could be a product or service, but we are certainly pressured by price.
Is the cheapest price always the better way to go? "Definitely, without a doubt, NO."  Many of us have had a bad experience of cheaper isn't better!  If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!
But, how do I choose which on line store to purchase from and how will I know I've made the right choice? Here are some tips that may help make that decision.

What to look out for!
~ If the product or service is much cheaper
than the average price after comparing several
        sites, Red Flag!
~ If there is not a full description or visual of the product or service, Red Flag!
~ If there is lack of information to help educate you in making your final
        selection, Red Flag!
~ If there is lack of information about the Company, like how it got started and
their business practices in regard to their customers, Red Flag!
~ If there is lack of Contact information, if a problem should arise or a question
needs to be asked, Red Flag!
~ If there is not a responsible Return Policy you can read, Red Flag!
~ No well known secure credit card payment transaction, (such as PayPal etc.)
        Red Flag!
These are some of the items to watch out for.  A website that has all this covered, would typicality be one that can be trusted and great to do business with.  Hope these tips will help you in the future.
